Fun with Tunde and Khoury Van Gilder in Washington, D.C.

Fun with Tunde Odunlade at the Mt. Pleasant home of gallerists Franko Khoury and Jan Van Gilder.

Among others in attendance from the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, where Franko is a photographer, were Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole, Director; Janet Stanley, Chief Librarian; Christine Kreamer, Deputy Director and Chief Curator; and Amy Staples, Senior Archivist.

Friends and longtime Mt. Pleasant neighbors of Khoury Van Gilder, museum docents and other supporters; as well as F.O.T.s (Friends of Tunde) from around the D.C. Metro area came out for the beautifully curated show of Tunde’s works from the past several years, including new batik quilt tapestry.

Private showings through the end of the month. Contact us if you’d like to see the show.
