Opening night for 3 Artists: 1 Venue sparkled as a gala crowd of friends and fans came out for the first look at new works from visual artists Tunde Odunlade, Carlos Uribe, and Caryl Henry Alexander. We appreciate you!!! Torrential rain may have shut down the live concert in Downtown Silver Spring, but at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center Gallery the show went on!
Many thanks also to Exec. Director Jose Dominguez and the wonderful staff and interns at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center for their tremendous support of this show.
All are invited to the Artists Talk this Friday, September 12 at 7 p.m., at the gallery: 8230 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Tunde Odunlade and Caryl Henry will share the techniques used in the works on display, and the tremendous stories, Yoruba proverbs, and African-American folk wisdom behind Tunde’s relief batik and Caryl’s paintings. All are welcome.
